Housing and℃of protection

Made of high-strength cast iron with parallel cooling fins providing a large heat dissipation area; IP55℃of protection, dustproof and resistant to jets of water, suitable for use in harsh environments.

Stator and winding

Insulation class F (155 degree). A special electrical wire that is resistant to high-frequency influences and vacuum impregnation technology are used. Withstands overvoltage of the high frequency carrier frequency of the converter, has a long insulation service life.

Rotor design

Cage rotor with high purity cast aluminum rods, precision dynamically balanced, features low vibration and stable operation. 4-pole design, rated speed approximately 1480 rpm.

Cooling system

Independent remote frequency cooling fan IC416. Prevents overheating both at low and high speeds, ensures stable thermal conditions when adjusting the frequency in the range of 3–100 Hz.

Mounting design

IMB3 (horizontal foot mounted). Installation dimensions comply with IEC standards, has high interchangeability with Y series motors, and good versatility of use.

Bearings and seals

Uses precision deep groove ball bearings with long lasting lubrication. Double labyrinth type mechanical seal + oil deflector, provides protection against dust and lubricant leaks, increases the service interval.

High adaptation to frequency regulation

Optimized for operation from a frequency converter. Constant torque range 3–50 Hz, constant power range 50–100 Hz. Provides high traction force at low speeds and high overload capacity at high speeds, smooth speed control without jerking and vibration.

High energy efficiency and energy savings

SIMO's own electromagnetic design, low loss design. It has high efficiency and good power factor, provides significant energy savings during long-term operation, and meets the requirements of environmentally friendly production.

Easy Maintenance

Modular design, bearings and sealing elements are standard and easily replaceable. The remote fan is serviced separately, reducing maintenance costs and reducing equipment downtime.
